This is HANDS DOWN the best breakfast joint in the United States. My wife and I both ordered fairly straightforward meals. Our eggs were cooked to perfection. The bacon was even better. But the potatoes, good lord the potatoes. I'm leaving this review two years after my visit but my goodness they are that memorable. Go here. Go here now.

I stumbled into this place on the way to a job. Not sure what to expect, it was in a strip mall. I walked in and it was PACKED! Obviously the locals know about it! I ordered my breakfast & paid- I dont think I even waited 3 minutes & it was in my hand. And it was PERFECT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Unpretentious breakfast & lunch spot that is busy for a reason, and hasn't disappointed us in 20years. It's a local family-friendly, multi-generational favorite. Here we adore the omelettes made from eggs that are evenly cooked with interior fillings tucked just short of bursting; fork-tender, lightly seasoned home-fries that are knife-cut from red-bliss potatoes with the skins left on; corn-beef hash made from scratch; big pancakes and French toasts made to order. The short order cooks are impressively in constant motion as they work the busy griddle. If you like to watch this activity, they are not in a hidden kitchen. Friendly servers are unobtrusive and everything prepared reaches you hot. Your coffee will be refilled without question. This is a homey-style establishment where you exit with a full belly and [the only drawback] is you smell like the kitchen. In the spring and summer there are a few outdoor tables. When driving up, if the parking lot seems full, expect a 10-15 min wait. Just find a spot on the side/rear lot and be patient.

We stopped in for breakfast around 930 on a Sunday and there was no wait. The young waitresses hanging out by the door weren't very welcoming, but our waitress (older, short hair) was so warm and friendly! The food was great. My teens both got pancakes, and these things were massive. Like...hanging over the edge and of the plates big. Just the right amount of sweetness, and a little crispness on the edge. I got the basic egg breakfast w sausage, toast and home fries. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage was yummy. The star of the show for me was the home fries....they were buttery, flavorful, pillows inside and crunchy on the outside. I will dream about those home fries lol
